Animated Social Media Campaign for Scania.

An animated social media campaign that would simultaneously showcase Scania services, and elevate the brand’s UK social media presence.

Eleven and the digital marketing team at Scania planned several two-weekly themed campaigns with animated social media assets posted every 2 or 3 days across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin. The animated shorts aimed to capture the attention of the audience, taking advantage of the auto-play feature to break through noisy news feeds.

The team created content formatted to suit all the channels that would be used. All posts were created in both square format (for Facebook, Instagram feed, and later LinkedIn), and a vertical video format (for Instagram stories) that included a ‘swipe up for more info’ instruction at the end of each. Key content was also distributed across Scania’s national digital signage network in normal HD format.
